- Installation Note: 1. Recover and disconnect battery. 2.Disconnect electrical plug from old sensor. 3.Remove old sensor. Do not damage threads. 4.Install new sensor with pre-installed O-ring. Tighten to spec. 5. Reconnect electrical plug. 6.Evacuate, recharge A/C system, and test operation. Note: A/C system must be evacuated before opening. Professional installation recommended.
